25 Weeks!
Happy week 25! We are so excited to be at this point! I had my ultrasound this morning and measured at 36mm, which is terrific. I also got some cute new photos of P3, profiles and photos of it's little piggies...so adorable! My water levels look good and no contractions so the doctors are feeling very positive...so are we! Prayers are being answered!
Speaking of answered prayers...we are thrilled that my sister has improved so much that she will most likely be discharged tomorrow. It has been so nice to have her here with me, but I am so excited for her to be able to finally hold her sweet boy...for the first time!! She is beyond excited! Bennett is improving every day! He is a sleepy eater and only doing about 1/3 to 1/2 an ounce at a time, but he is eating, which is wonderful...and I'm sure that once he is being held and fed by mommy he'll do much better! I can't wait to meet him!
Please send up a few prayers for Greg this week...he is exhausted and this week is going to be completely crazy for him at work. He did an amazing job for Landon's birthday weekend but unfortunately, he didn't get a lot of sleep, so he is starting at a deficit. Please pray that he can keep his energy up and not get too worn out. We are so thankful for our wonderful caregivers. The boys seem to have settled into a comfy routine and I think it will be good for them to have a predictable schedule again! I've attached a few more birthday weekend photos...enjoy!
One more prayer request please. I mentioned my friend Kim, whose water broke last Thursday. She delivered her baby girl on Saturday at 24 1/2 weeks. I saw Kim on Sunday on her way to see the baby in the NICU. She is tiny of course, but seems to be holding her own! Kim, however, had a very traumatic emergency c-section and is understandably uncomfortable. Please pray for both their health and well being. We continue to be so thankful for all of you and your prayers and concern for our family. We don't take them, or you all for granted...we know we have been blessed beyond measure...so thank you!!
