Bennett is home!!

Oh happy day!! Lisa and Scott finally got to bring sweet Bennett home to meet his brothers and sister! Everyone was thrilled and Bennett preformed on cue...asleep until his brothers got home from school, then waking up to be held by all, showing off what his cry sounds like, nursing and going back to sleep! He is still eating like a champ and Lisa has a scale to weigh before and after feeds to be sure he is getting enough volume to fatten him up! If he is anything like his siblings and cousins...it shouldn't take long! He actually had his best feed yet when they got home...do you think he could tell? We are so thankful to God for yet another miracle that Bennett is home with his family...much quicker than we had originally thought possible. And as Lisa titled her email with the welcome home photos...all is right with their world!! Thank you all for your part in this happy reunion day...your prayers have been so instrumental and we really appreciate all of you and each prayer lifted on behalf of Bennett, Lisa and their whole family.

Today was a super fun day for our boys too! Since Greg worked the equivalent of 3 weeks in the past week and 2 days, he took today to spend some quality time with the boys. Landon has forever been into sharks and whales and all things ocean dwelling, so Greg surprised them with a day at the Georgia Aquarium! They had an absolute blast and really enjoyed all of the different areas. A couple of their favorites were the whale shark, the jellies and the otter that floated around on his back cleaning his paws! I hate that I missed seeing their reaction...the last time we were there was last summer...and they've both grown up so much since then...I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall to listen to their conversations! They stopped by the hospital to see me on the way home and although it totally messed up their naps and the evening due to some tired boys, I think it was overall a great day! They sure do love spending time with their daddy and any day is a good day when my three boys come by for a visit!!

I do have one more piece of news to share...my friend Lynda, that I mentioned last entry, I guess was feeling bad for me that my sister had checked out of the hospital and she moved in down the hall today! Actually, her docs just wanted her and the twins to be monitored more closely and they are hoping to keep her pregnant as long as possible without putting Lynda or the babies in danger. The good news is that she is now 30 weeks and she was also given the steroid shots for the babies' lungs so that if she needs to deliver sooner rather than later, they will have the benefit of the shot. Anywhoo...the nurses felt it was necessary to remind me that Northside does not offer a finders fee and that I should stop recruiting...but is fun to have a friend down the hall! Please keep her and the little ones in your prayers...we all know how powerful your prayers are!!

Well, that's all the news that's fit to print...hope you all are doing well! We'd love to hear from you!

Love, Kristen, Greg, Landon, Tanner and P3
