Updates

Hope this find all of you well. We don't have a ton of new news, but thought I'd just give you a brief update. Lisa seems to be doing much better. She has been up and about quite a bit but they have taken her iv pain meds away so she is pretty uncomfortable. Hopefully tomorrow she will wake up feeling much better. Little Bennett is still holding his own. It is hard to get updates b/c there just isn't much to share until they have completed raising his body temp. The last I heard, around 6 pm he still had about 2 degrees left to go to the typical 98.6 - it's a slow process. Again, tomorrow is a big day. They will do the MRI and we will have much more information to go on. Please pray really hard. He has had such a miraculous journey so far and is showing such fight...we are praying the MRI will confirm that all is well.

We had a parade of visitors today and each person that came to see one of us, we would send to see the other...it was pretty comical. The staff and doctors here can't get over the fact that we are here together...I guess it is pretty rare that two sisters would be in the hospital, same floor, same hall at the same time! I rather enjoy having her just down the hall, although I know she is anxious to get home to her family and get to Grady to see Bennett.

The boys are doing well and Greg is too, despite being absolutely exhausted. I am so thankful that he doesn't require much sleep...he is still spending great quality time with them after work though I know he would rather fall into bed...he's a great daddy! We are all looking forward to Landon's 4th birthday on Saturday...he is becoming such a big boy! Grandmommy and Grandy and Scott and Lisa and their 3 will join our family to celebrate here at the hospital. Patient relations reserved a conference room for us to use. I think Greg is going to try and decorate it a little with balloons and streamers...it will be fun! I am waiting on the okay from my doctor to attend, though I think it will be fine as long as I stay on my stretcher and don't try to sit up! They don't have to worry...I am being very good. Kim, a friend down the hall who I met at the first week's support group was in for the same reason I was. I just heard that her water broke today...please keep her in your prayers.

We are thankful for each day I am in here and P3 is still safe in my belly! Thank you for your continued prayers. We appreciate them and each of you.

Love, Kristen, P3 and the fellas
